One of the most important requirements for the mask was that it had to be light enough to be worn throughout the performance. That is why little infill was used and the mask was reinforced with a hard coating. This provided the necessary strength without adding extra weight.
For this project, the mask was printed in multiple pieces and then glued. To ensure that the seams were seamless, filler was used and the mask was leveled and sprayed with a smoothing spray. The result was a detailed mask that was light enough to be worn comfortably during the performance.
