We designed these cute dog keychains for Feline & Finn, a pet store with an eye for luxury and design.
Our “Doggy” design responds to this.
It is a keychain in the abstract shape of a dog. On the back, you can read the text “Feline & Finn” in the font of their corporate identity.
They are available in 4 trendy colors: pastel pink, pastel blue, glitter copper & gold bronze.
Production
This cute little dog was a real nightmare to print en masse.
The model starts with a brim that holds the 4 legs together to prevent them from falling over (mid print).
If that doesn't work, you can always change the Retraction settings. Retraction height raising ensures that the nozzle has less chance of knocking over the printed parts.
However, the belly is not printed thoroughly without support, so the print takes hours to 4 hours per keychain. To reduce the duration AND keep the serif font detailed on the back of the model, it's best to do it. adaptive layerheight tick. As a result, the layer height adapts to the curve of the model. Fine details are then printed with a finer layer height.
However, that was not enough to make the letters clearly legible. For optimal results, you can use the horizontal expansion increase. For example, the narrow letters do not fill up when the nozzle hits the next layer.
