For these BOEMM employee trophies, we have combined various maker services.
For example, the 3D model of the heart is personalized with the company logo and slogan.
That model was then printed with our FDM printers in red PLA filament from PolyLite.
To obtain a beautifully finished result, we treated all printed hearts with a heat gun.
As a result, small “strings” disappear between the letters and the support injuries become less visible.
Then we cut the wood to size and engraved the slogans with a laser cutter.
Finally, we assembled all the elements with a metal rod.
It was always “fused” with the heart and glued into the wooden element.
