PLA matte is a 3D printing material with a non-reflective, soft finish that combines aesthetics and ease of printing. It is particularly suitable for visual prototypes and applications where appearance is key.
PLA matte is a biodegradable polylactide-based filament with a matt surface structure that minimizes light reflection.
PLA matte is a variant of standard PLA (polylactide) where additives are added to create a matte, diffuse finish. This finish reduces visible layer lines and provides a more uniform appearance, making the material particularly suitable for aesthetic applications. Just like classic PLA, the material is easy to print, with a low risk of warping and without the need for a closed printing chamber. PLA matte comes from renewable raw materials such as corn starch and is biodegradable under industrial conditions.
Due to the matte finish, the material is less sensitive to fingerprints and reflections, which reinforces its use in presentation models and design objects.
